The MDT-156H is a compact, easy-to-use coating thickness meter for measuring non-magnetic
coatings (like paint or zinc) on steel, and insulating coatings (like paint or anodising) on non-ferrous
metals. It uses both magnetic induction and eddy current principles, with automatic substrate
recognition via its integral sensor.
Ideal for quality control, manufacturing, and automotive work, the MDT-156H stores up to 1,500
readings, offers USB data output, and displays key statistics such as max, min and average.
Supplied with everything needed for calibration and immediate use.
Measures coatings on ferrous and non-ferrous metals
Automatic substrate recognition
Reads in microns or millimetres
USB interface for data transfer
Stores 1,500 readings with statistical display
Compact and portable with auto power-off
Supplied with: Calibration foils, ferrous & non-ferrous base plates, USB cable,
software, carry case, and batteries.

The MTD-225 uses advanced ultrasonic technology to measure the thickness
of steel and other ferrous metals, even on live pipework with flowing fluid.
Ideal for corrosion monitoring in pressure vessels, boilers, tanks and
pipelines, it’s widely used in petroleum, shipbuilding, power and
manufacturing industries.
Robust and portable, it features an impact-resistant ABS case with a built-in
calibration plate. Results can be transferred to a PC or laptop via RS-232C
interface and software.
