Thermocouple Probes - Type K, J, E, T, R, S or N
Thermocouple probes are a base metal thermocouple system
using two dissimilar metals welded at the tip forming what is
commonly known as the thermocouple junction.
Ordering Information
All probes listed are Type K. If the requirement is for any other
format please change the last letter of the probe code. E.g. MSFK6 = Type K, MSFE-6 = Type E.
Type K - nickel-chromium vs. nickel-aluminum.
Type J - iron vs. copper-nickel.
Type E - nickel-chromium vs. copper-nickel.
Type T - copper vs. copper-nickel.
Type R - platinum vs. platinum, 13% rhodium.
Type S - platinum vs. platinum, 10% rhodium.
Type N - nickel-chrome-silicium vs. nickel-silicium.
